A bus-load of high school students on their way home. The substitute bus driver makes an unscheduled stop to pickup a new passenger, a passenger with deadly intentions.Intentions that will keep the last five students from possibly every returning to their exclusive neighborhood. The five teens -- a high school football hero; his adoring younger brother, a handsome, brooding loner, a strong-willed, yet beautiful, military brat; and a fragile daddy's girl are kidnapped and held for ransom. The captors, unable to collect the full ransom by the deadline. These drastic measures may make the sweltering Florida sun and deadly creatures that inhabit the forbidding Everglades seem tame. Believing that escape may be the teens' only option, they hatch a plan to steal their captors airboat and escape.
But somethings goes wrong... A hero is made, a secret is revealed, a family is destroyed, and a life is taken... Who will survive being HELD FOR RANSOM?
