A woman has a habit of getting into bad relationships, which she resolves by simply upping and leaving. And so, when another love goes bad, she takes her hitting-teens daughter and treks from the American Deep South to California. Before long, she is involved in yet another bad affair, and wants to move somewhere else. This time, however, daughter says NO, let's make it work...
