Rottentomatoes tomatometer
Tomatometer quote iconThe Black Phone might have been even more frightening, but it remains an entertaining, well-acted adaptation of scarily good source material.

Jeffrey M. Anderson quote iconViolent but effective horror tale about kidnapped teens.

ScreenIt
Jim Judy quote iconOverall, it’s a fairly gripping and certainly imaginative offering, grounded by the best kid characters and related performances in a horror flick in a long time.
