La La Land

Here’s to the fools who dream.

A pretty young woman, wanting to be an actress, serves lattes to movie stars in between auditions, while a young and dedicated jazz musician scrapes by playing cocktail piano gigs in dingy bars. As success mounts they are faced with decisions that begin to fray the fragile fabric of their love affair, and the dreams they worked so hard to maintain in each other threaten to rip them apart. The film won all seven Golden Globes that it was nominated for, and is expected to do well at the Oscars.
