20th Century Women

Set in Santa Barbara, California, during the 1970s, we follows a determined single mother in her mid-50s who is raising her adolescent son, at a moment brimming with cultural change and rebellion. She enlists the help of two younger women in his upbringing, a free-spirited punk artist boarding with them, and a savvy and provocative teenage neighbour. The film had one Oscar nom and numerous other nominations and wins.
