An ageing reprobate, a rural boy, a large dog and an orphaned baby rhino set out to stop the rhino slaughter. Their quest takes them through assorted comic situations as well as times of tragedy, and they end up an inspiration and a conscience to a world in need of heroes.

The themes interrogate the fight against rhino poaching, rhino poaching involving trusted officials paying people to kills rhinos for monetary purposes, friendships and team-work, armed mercenaries lying about their job, being fearless and standing by your values. These themes include inspirational and prosocial messages about saving rhinos with a mild to moderate impact. The visual presentations of a rhino lying dead after implied shooting may distress, upset and/or confuse younger impressionable viewers under the age of 10 years. Children 10 to 12 will require parental guidance and support to contextualize the storyline.
