What the Critics say

24.com
Gabi Zietsman quote iconRed Joan is a mediocre retelling of a story that was already great in its original form and didn’t need this kind of tinkering and abuse of Dench’s talent. There are other, far better British spy movies that will not put you into a coma.

Tomatometer quote iconA fascinating real-life story dramatized in perplexingly dull fashion, Red Joan wastes its tale’s incredible intrigue -- as well as the formidable talents of Judi Dench.
