Comments | The material contains strong impact complex and mature themes which are presented in a context of a crime drama. Themes explore drug peddling, murder and ambushing of innocent law enforcement officers, corruption in the police force, manipulation, crime prevention activities, money laundering, criminals on the run, robbery, police interrogation, finding the truth, sabotage, betrayal, lies, deceit and justice prevailing at the end. Themes of police officers involved in fraudulent and corrupt activities like manipulation, murder, betrayal of their own colleagues are negative, disturbing, distressing, upsetting, misleading and morally harmful. On a positive note, the film has positive resolutions which is presented when justice prevails at the end with the death and arrest of some of the officers. The film strongly communicates a clear positive message that crime does not pay. The presentation of themes would not be suitable for children younger than 16 because they are intertwines with violence and criminal activities such as drug peddling by law enforcement officers whose role is to protect communities against such acts. |
